Learning something new!

I recently learned something new. They are called blends. It really adds a mystical touch to my images and I really love it. What do you think?

Oh Well boys, we will get them next year!!

Our little Hornets came in 2nd place this year after an undefeated season last year. It was bittersweet but they took it like the little troopers that they are. No tears this year, they knew that they had done their best and that is all you can do. As I have said previously this is more than just a team...this is a family. A group of very talented little guys with some crazy Mamas...lol!
We have nothing but Hornet pride. We go all out and when I say "all out," I mean ALL OUT!!!

Let me give you a little description (why I have no pictures to share, I have no idea.) Okay, picture a group of Moms wearing green with football antenna headbands on our heads, proudly shaking our water bottle shakers filled with green and white beads. Close your eyes now....you might just hear us screaming Go Hornets, with a little DEFENSE (clap-clap) DEFENSE (clap-clap). LOL! There might be a little air horn blowing going on, but we won't go into details on that...lol! Our trademark is win or lose we ALWAYS have a parent tunnel on the field that the boys run through. Their might even be a little silly string involved. :) The boys love it and we love the boys!!

So like I said they might have come in 2nd, but they are first place in our hearts!!
I am including these pictures I took of Gabi for my Hubby on Father's Day this year. I truely felt that first one was fitting. He also loves his Hornets and we thought it would be a riot to dress Gabi up as one. There have been many times he has wanted to suit her up and put her out there. She is very fast. Hmmmm....maybe she will be our secret weapon next year...lol! Just kidding of course!!

My New Logo!!!

Isn't it fabulous!! It was created for me by my super fabulous friend , The Luna Vine. She made my previous dragonfly but I think this adds a little sophistication to me...lol. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Loonie!! You are incredibly talented!!

My Little Punks

No fairy tales or super hero's this year. Not even a touch of sweetness like the years before. This year they wanted to be little punks. I went along with it because I knew I had put my own Mother through the same torture when I was growing up. Hey Mom, Do you remember the year I was a punkrocker and wore 15 lb earrings??? lol! I told them we would do this but for the sake of their Mother's sanity they had to promise me that when they morphed into teenagers that this would by no means become their regular attire...lol!

I promise Austin was not going to punch Gabi in the head. He was showing off his tattoo!

Gabi's individuals were taken earlier this week when she was in the fair parade. She was supposed to be a rocking cheerleader. I think it suits her. Don't you? Believe me her Daddy has the stick ready for when the boys come knocking at the door. Wowza!! She looks so much older in all that makeup!!

Could have been bittersweet but instead a celebration

This is my son Austin. My son's are so different! I have two that can't get enough of sports and everything that goes along with it. But Austin has always been into art. He get's a lot of slack for not being the "typical boy" His art teacher entered two of hsi projects in our county fair this year. We went yesterday to see how he did. the one he is most proud of was a sketch he did of himself. We endearingly call it, "Austin's big ol' head." LOL. On our way to the fair I had to keep reassuring him that it was an absolute honor just to be selected. He is so tenderhearted. As a Mommy I was a nervous wreck, not knowing how we were going to handle it if he didn't win. We built him up just like we do our other son before a big game. We get there and we find the "Big ol' head" and it didn't place. I could see the disappointment seeping from Austin. I still said I wanted a picture of him with the "big ol' head" He laughed and so this is what we got.

Yahoo!!! First place!!! It was a good day to be Austin and a good day to be Austin's Mommy! We were overjoyed!!

Yvonne and Michael thankyou so much for including me on your special day! Wow what a party it was! Sorry for torturing you with pictures Michael but you will see that it was well worth it. You were great during your photo shoots..ha ha! Here is a few I have gone through already. I will let you know when I have the others up.
