A Session with a Hero and a beautiful family

We had this session in Forsyth Park. Daddy was only home for a short time. He is a helicopter pilot for the United States Army and he had to go back to Afghanistan. So special to capture these moments for a Hero. You could see the love in his eyes for his daughter and wife. I do have to see this little girl was the sweetest baby. Never even made a peep. You could see her soul in her deep brown eyes. Thanks again to Sylvia for booking a session with me. I hope to see ya'll again soon. :0)

 Oh those eyes!!

Summer came to an end but....

I have these photos to remind me of a relaxing day spending time with my family. I love everything about the beach. Something about the salt air soothes me and helps me to forget all my troubles if only for a day. I liked how moody these turned out in black and white.

August is almost over!!

So don't miss out on our Super Senior Special! You don't have to do your session in August. You just need to book your session before the month is over! So book soon and we will make you the Rockstars of the Class of 2011!

"Caterpillar to Butterfly" Baby Plan and Baby Cohen

I just love babies. Everything about them. I launched my "Caterpillar to Butterfly" baby plan and minutes later Baby Cohen's Mama signed up. :0)  We did his 2 weeks portraits at his home. That way he wasn't out with any icky germs. Then we did his 3 months at the beach! What a crazy session that was. We fought with dark clouds and rain but in the long run got cute little gummy smiles and beautiful light in his eyes. I am looking forward to his 6 months session and to see just how much he has grown.

OCF (Off Camera Flash) with Jodi Young

This year I had the opportunity to learn from the ever talented Jodi young from  Jodi Young Photography .

She is not only one of the most talented and creative photographers I know but also one of my very best friends. It was so easy to learn from her. We tend to share the same brain sometimes...lol. Thanks Jo for helping me create these images. I love ya sista!

Thank you also to beautiful Kaci for modeling for the class.

She's growing up.

She is growing up and this year is officially a teenager! These are Gabi's 13 year old portraits. As always we didn't go for normal portraits but wanted to do something fun. She looks like a little rockstar to me. I love my girl!

This one is my favorite by far! I love the light in this little spot.

These are so special to me...

These are so special to me because it was my very first maternity session. I was so lucky because Kim was a beautiful, glowing Mommy. (Everything I wasn't when I was preggers...lol) Kim was also one of my little guy's favorite teachers so that made me a pretty cool Mom too. Thanks again Kim and Travis. I really enjoyed taking your portraits.
