So I asked...

I asked my clients about me. How they felt? What was their experience with me? Was it enjoyable? I am sure that is a huge NO, NO in some people's worlds but it was what I needed to do. I want to know what people wanted. When I know what people want then I can customize what I do to that experience. I can know what is working and what might need to change or get tweeked a little. As a photographer that is what I did to get better as well. I put my work out there to get critiqued. BELIEVE ME...I didn't always hear what I wanted to hear but it helped me to grow. To see things differently.

I will admit I was really kind of nervous waiting on their responses and then they came in. Wow. Then the rush of tears came. That little voice in my head telling me, "Jenn you did it. You are doing what you love and in the process bringing good feelings to others." Seriously that is the best feeling.

You see I have my love story with my husband. I have my love story with my children. Now I have this...my crazy little love story called my photography and it's all mine. I can be selfish with this one. I did it. I brought it to life. As a Mommy and a wife you know how hard it is to have something that is only yours. This is it for me. This is my mark on the world saying, "Hey look at me, Jenn was here!" You know how you used to in people's year books...lol.  It is a love story to me. It comes from my love for the arts and always being that artsy girl that liked to make things, create things. My parents can attest to that. lol.

So in ending I want to say thank you to those of you who responded to me. I asked you to be honest and you were. I asked what you want to see happen and you told me. I am going to do my best to give you that. I am brainstorming as always and your ideas were all so great. I look forward to all the future relationships I gain with all of you! I need to find a new word for client. That sounds so stuffy to me. lol. Because in the long run, you all have become friends to me. Thanks for choosing me and sharing in my vision.

Much love, Jenn

Baby J is 7 months

I just love little Jamison. His blue eyes make me melt! We also took some family shots for Christmas. What a gorgeous family and so sweet. Jamison is most definitely his Daddy's twin!! I love working with them and I am looking forward to Jamison's 9 month session. Here are some of my favorites.

This little Monkey had enough.... lol. So cute!!

Baby Bronwyn (7 months)

Such a little sweetie!! I met with her Mommy, Grandparents and Uncle in Forsythe Park again. I love shooting there. Especially with little sweetie's like Bronwyn. This time they brought a chair that her Mommy used to sit in when she was a baby. Bronwyn didn't like sitting much. She loves to stand. :0) We got some really precious photographs at this session. I love Bronwyns expressions. That's for making the trip again Candace. I will see you again soon for her 9 month session. :0)

Meet Emma and Charlie ;0)

And it started with:
Me: Hi what's your name?
Her: Emma Grace Midden!
Photographers be jealous because every one of you could have shot Little Miss Emma for days!!! She loved the camera and the camera loved her!! Then there was Sweet baby Charlie who gave the sweetest sleepy smiles ever. This session went perfectly and I love how they turned out. I also designed a Christmas Card for the Middens that turned out just as cute!! Thank you again Elizabeth for Choosing me! :0)

Smiley Stuey is One!!

I love little Stuey! His Daddy was able to make it to this session so we were able to get some with him as well. Love this family and so glad I get to continue working with them with Sweet little Skylar's baby plan.

It was really cool to see him walking!! :0)

This was to honor his Daddy for helping to keep us all safe. :0)

The Conaway Family

I enjoyed meeting the Conaway's. They are a beautiful Family and so nice. My clients have the best taste in clothing. They're outfits went perfect together. They're little guy loved getting his pictures made. :) I was also able to design a Christmas Card for them which I can finally share. I designed it around their sweet baby girl's outfit. Thanks for choosing me Haley! I enjoyed working with ya'll. :0)

I have so enjoyed photographing Cohen. He is a sweetie. This time I got to walk around with him as he read me a book, collected rocks and thank goodness for lollipops we were able to get some of him in his cute homemade hat!! There's nothing wrong with some bribery sometimes! ;0)

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? ;0)

This one is my favorite!!
