Jacqueline & Nick are getting married...

I had the pleasure to meet with Jacqueline and Nick at Meldrim Woods Plantation for their engagement pictures. This gorgeous couple is getting married in October. Thanks for sharing some time with me you two. :)

Sometimes they call me the "Crazy Face Picture Lady!"

And it is not because I have a crazy face (At least I hope not...lol) They on the other hand well...that's a different story all together!! lol! I always try to take the boring out of lining up and posing. At the end I let them be the kiddos they want to be and be as silly as they want to be. I tell you it makes even the most serious one crack up laughing. I love it. It also is my favorite part! Thank you Warriors and Thank you Coach Dale for helping me make it through the rain. We almost beat it. :) I think we did pretty good fitting 2 teams in!

Lollipops and Sunshine...

Who could ask for anything more?? I had so so much fun with Little Raegan. I even got a lollipop sticky hug afterwards. We talked and giggled and jumped. Although she kept calling me Miss Nicole.

Me: "Raegan I am Miss Jennifer."

Raegan: "I know I just keep mixing you up with Miss Nicole."

Me: "Why?"

Raegan: "Because you both start with Miss!"

I laughed forever about this and it still makes me giggle. Thank you for the sunshine today Raegan and I hope you loved your lollipop!!

My 4 Reasons for happiness...

I have always wanted an urban session with all my children together. Especially in this one spot on River Street in Savannah. It is the sweetest pocket of light I have ever seen. Not too much to over power but just enough to have such a softness to it. I know I must sound weird but I really do notice how light falls in certain places and usually it isn't what you would think would be somewhere to do a portrait. I am so pleased with these images not only as a photographer but as a Mommy. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. There are a lot to look at..lol.

Spring

There something about spring that just makes me happy. The beauty of the flowers started the bloom, the giggles of my kiddos who are home on spring break. I don't even mind the occasional showers. Here in Georgia it is especially beautiful because the azaleas are blooming and the strong purple wysteria is everywhere. So I will leave you with just a small piece of what I see. Once again my girlie girl.

If there is one thing I can't resist is the opportunity to use a new background. Not one you purchase through a photography outlet but one that you create yourself. I purchased a new comforter for my bed. I can tell you that I bought it because I thought it would look beautiful in my bedroom but I would be fibbing just a little. I mainly bought it because it caught my eye for photos...lol. I think it worked out just fine. :) Of course I pulled my kiddo into my mission. She was kind enough to oblige as long as there was some make believe and makeup involved. In the first few you will see that I absolutely jumped at the chance for just that. She said she felt like something out of the matrix. Through grins and giggles we came up with these most beautiful, most serious faces. It kills me that she has the ability to bring on this seriousness in between snorts and laughter...lol.

I am getting more and more of these smiles lately and I would be lying if I told you that I didn't love it. This smile is what makes my heart smile. I love my girl!

Another assignment and A combination of the both of us.

I had a new assignment to do for a photography forum I belong to. The assignment was "Tools of a trade." My hubby is a firefighter so I decided to team up with him to show his trade and my photography. I am very pleased as to how this turned out and will be hanging this in our home soon.
